Draw the Line is a campaign in which people from all walks of life—celebrities, activists, artists, homemakers, business people, anyone who believes in reproductive freedom—step off the sidelines and speak out.
Why? The Center for Reproductive Rights has gone to the U.S. Supreme Court for the most important reproductive rights case in almost 25 years. The case, Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt, will determine whether Texas can shut down nearly all abortion care providers in the state, placing countless women at risk of serious harm.
For more than 40 years, the Supreme Court has said the Constitution protects a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her health and family, including abortion.
Now the Court must reject political schemes to prevent women from acting on these personal decisions. The health of millions of women in Texas—and across the country—is at stake.
The majority of Americans support the constitutional right to safe and legal abortion. Now’s the time to show the Supreme Court that you’re one of them.
The Draw the Line campaign consists of three elements:
- Personal Stories: Anyone can share their story of why reproductive rights has mattered to them.
- Draw the Line Monologues: Celebrities read real women’s stories about the importance of safe, legal abortion care.
- Take the Challenge: Show that you agree it’s time to draw the line. Share the message on social media with the hashtag #DrawTheLine.
We’re asking you to stand with us against political attacks on reproductive health care and say: This is where I draw the line.
